Sydney is a Colorado native who grew up playing lacrosse at the high school and competitive club level. She was recruited to compete in Division 3 lacrosse at Wesleyan University. Her team progressed from near the bottom of their league to becoming Final Four contestants within two years. Sydney faced a career-ending injury and significant performance anxiety, which partially fueled her passion for mental performance.
With a major in Neuroscience & Behavior, Sydney's fascination with the brain and love for sports led her to work for a company providing mindfulness training for athletes. She went through a 100-hour course through Dharma Moon and Tibet House to become a certified Mindfulness Meditation Coach. She served as the Director of Partnerships as well as a Mindfulness Coach for high school and Division 3 athletic teams and individuals.
To deepen her expertise, Sydney is pursuing a master's in Sport and Performance Psychology and is currently working towards becoming a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC). During her master’s program, she worked at West Point Academy's Center for Enhanced Performance (CEP) with cadets, honing her mental performance training skills. Sydney has also worked with high school teams & individuals, professional athletes, College football combine prep groups, and competitive club teams.
Sydney's mission is to create lasting impact on individuals through meaningful connections and working as a team to support individuals and teams develop into their best selves athletically and increase joy in their sport.
