What is Mental Performance?
Mental performance is all about building a powerful mind-body connection. For optimal performance, the mind and body must work as teammates, not opponents. This connection begins with awareness—of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, as well as your external surroundings. The more awareness you have, the greater your potential for change.
Where you focus is also critical. Train your brain to direct your focus where you want it, when you want it. Finally, flexibility is key; strengthening your "mental flexibility" allows you to adapt to the curveballs life and sport throw your way.
Together, these skills enhance your well-being, allowing you to have more fun and truly enjoy your sport. Without joy, you can’t be your best self or play your best.
